The Graduate and Professional Studies’ (GPS) mission is to serve current and prospective graduate students within The Samueli School of Engineering. From recruitment and admission to graduation and conferral of degrees, this office provides many services, including general counseling and advice. We also collaborate with various departments on student-related issues, and the office serves as the final school-wide stop for approval of petitions, advancements to candidacy, degree conferrals and other academic processes.
Walk-ins are welcome at any time for quick questions. However, if you are a prospective student wishing to discuss graduate school or if you are a current student with an in-depth problem or up against a deadline, please call ahead of time to make an appointment with a counselor.
